Wedding Expo Shows Vast Vitality

The successful practice of the concluded 9th China•Shanghai International Wedding Photographic Equipment Exhibition during February 16-19, 2006 has shown wedding photography owns vast vitality. It was the largest in terms of its scale among the past 8 editions. More than 300 European and Asian companies and manufacturers took an active part in the exhibition. The whole country's annual wedding consumption accounts for 250 billion Yuan which vigorously promotes the continuous development of wedding photographic equipment, digital studio equipment, fashionable wedding dresses and relevant industries. There is no doubt, the wedding photography in China poses as the industry with the brightest future.

As a sign of this dynamism, China now hosts wedding exhibitions, aiming at attracting both domestic and foreign professionals. Since the Chinese wedding market is progressively extending beyond China's boundaries. Some international traders and wholesalers, in the United States, Canada, Japan and Korea, for example, who first used to source mainly from Taiwan, began to purchase from cities such as Shanghai and the whole China at the end of the 1990s.
