Laboratory of molecular neurobiology
Located on the fifth floor of the scientific research building and charged by Sheng-Xi Wu, PhD and associate professor of the Deparment of Human Anatomy.

Main research interests:
a) Receptors involved in inflammatory pain
b)Intracellular signal transduction mechanisms of pain and analgesia
c) Reveal the mechanisms of pain and analgesia by using in situ hybridization histochemical technique

Domestic and foreign co-operations:
Close co-operations in the field of molecular neurobiology between the Department of Cerebral Morphology, National Institute of Physiology, Japan and the Research Center of Molecular Neurobiology, Shiga Medical University, Japan have been established since 1998 and 2002, respectively.

Main experimental facilities:
set of high speed micro-refrigerated centrifuge (CM-1800-1)
set of ultraviolet spectrophotometer (Leica 3K30)
set of universal vacuum source desiccators (U2001 Hitachi)
series of ultraviolet transilluminator (DVS-400A)
set of non-ion and non-heat source pure water maker (Millipore)
