Department of Electronics
The Electronics Department in School of Biomedical Engineering was established in 1986. It provides graduate programs for master and doctoral degrees in biomedical engineering, as well as a post-doctoral station open to Ph.D.s working on biomedical engineering. The Non-conduct Living Parameter Detecting Lab in the department is a crucial part of a ministerial key Lab in medical engineering.
Research Areas:
(1) Search and Detection of wounded people injured in natural disasters.
(2) Biomedical signal detecting and processing.
③ Injury inspection and evaluation of people injured in natural disasters.
④ Weak signal detection under strong background noise
⑤ Application of microwave in medicine.
By the end of 2002, the department has supervised 6 graduate students.
