An all-in-one gasoline station which provides fast food and car maintenance services made its debut in Beijing on Wednesday.
Jointly operated by Sinopec, McDonald's and Honeywell, the drive-through is the first of its kind in China, and is expected to blaze a trail for gas stations around the country, Sinopec senior vice-president Zhang Jianhua said.
At the 24-hour gas station, located near Minzhuang Road in western Beijing, car drivers can fill themselves with McDonald's food while filling their tanks with gas, and getting their cars washed, repaired or maintained.
Sinopec and McDonald's jointly opened the first drive-through gasoline station in Beijing in January 2007. This latest station marks the first time that Honeywell, a major American conglomerate, has joined in with its professional car care services.
