Dandong Border Economic Cooperation Zone
Dandong （丹东）Border Economic Cooperation Zone, a national development zone approved by the State Council, is located in Dandong, the largest boder city in China. Along beautiful Yalu River and the Yellow Sea, Dandong Border Economic Cooperation Zone boasts of its convenient transportation network. After eight years' development and construction, it came into a multi-functional zone, consisting of trade and tourism area, port trade area, Jinquan Industrial Zone（金泉工业区）and Dadonggang Free Trade and Processing Zone（大东港保税仓储加工区）. At present, there are 1,200 investors all over the world setting up their enterprises here. In Jinquan Industrial Zone, Korea Inchon and China dandong governments cooperated to establish "Korea Inchon- China Dandong Industrial Base", in which many Korean enterprises has started production. In addition, planned new and high technology zone ranging from Hua Yuan He Kou （花园河口）to Wu Dao He Kou （五道河口）is under construction and its investment activities has started. It will offer more flexible and preferential investment policies on base of national, provincial and city policies. In 2010, the zone will be a border economic center, neighboring the Korea peninsula and a window of the northeast China.
