Bole Border Economic Cooperation Zone
Bole(博乐) Border Economic Cooperation Zone was officially established on 18th July 1992, and approved to be a state-level economic cooperation zone by the State Council on 3rd December. Its planned area is 7.83 square kilometers, consisting of four function areas: trade, industry, logistics and living.
The undertaking of the zone developed very well through all staff's effort. Since 1992, the zone has invested 90.05 million yuan on land levy and infrastructure construction. Up to 2002, 1125.51 mu land has been utilized. On the other hand, infrastructure has been invested 61.68 yuan, including transportation, heating and drainage system. In addition, Bole government approved “Preferential Policies in Border Cooperation Zone”, studying out detailed and specific projects investment. In 2002, 257 projects have been completed, covering the area of 25.2 square kilometers, among which 79 are investment projects. And the production value in the zone has reached 1.926 billion yuan.
In order to support non-public ownership economy, 100 mu land has been used to set up a non-public ownership economy zone in 2000. There all entities can obtain special preferential land policies. After completion of infrastructure construction, seven enterprises has stationed in the zone.
At present, it possesses of well-built infrastructure and perfect market functions. It can provide all entities in the zone with good services and markets.
