Xu Rongkai(徐荣凯), Member of the 16th CPC Central Committee, Governor of Yunnan Province
Born: 1942, Chongqing Municipality
Xu Rongkai, male, Han nationality, is a native of Chongqing. He was born in 1942, joined the CPC in 1960 and graduated from Qinghua University in 1966.
Xu spent much of his career at Dongfang Steam Turbine Plant in Sichuan Province. In 1991 he moved to Beijing and was named vice-minister of Light Industry.
In 2001, he became acting governor of Yunnan Province and was elected governor of Yunnan Province in 2002.
Xu is a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
