Peng Liyuan

Peng Liyuan (彭丽媛), as a celebrated singer is the representative of the folk vocal music in China , first ever folk vocal musician with master degree on this art. She has also starred in numerous operas, she is also the winner of Golden Medal in the 25th Word Youth Festival (with the participation of 65 different countries) for ranking the top of the vocal contest. She launched successfully in 1990 solo show in Beijing , Shanghai , Guangzhou in China and in Singapore .

Her flourished songs like On The Land Of Hope, Elder Fellow Villagers, Jomolangma, Spring Rain of The Century have been widely spreaded among the Chinese both at home and abroad.

She has also starred in numerous operas. Among them are the White Haired Girl, The Daughter Of The Party, Melancholy Dawn and Poems of Mulan, and wan Plum Blossom Award and the culture award and wan several times the National Cultural Projects Award and China Golden Records Award.

She lunched successfully in 1990 solo shows in Beijing Shanghai and Guangzhou , in 1993 three solo shows in Singapore , Singaporean president Ong Teng Cheong who was among the audience and gave high comments to the show. The shows have won praise both in the nation and abroad.
